Leona Divide 50 mile volunteers

My name is Keira Henninger, and I am a 32 young woman who just took over as race director for the Leona Divide 50 mile trail race! I am so excited!

The date for the race is Saturday April 17th, and starts and finishes at Lake Hughes community center just outside of Palmdale & lake Castaic. All 50 miles of this race are ran on surrounding trails near the race start, and even includes 16 miles of the pacific crest trail. I have seven aid stations total, and all are very easy to access. The fireroads are very well groomed, and very smooth.

I would love to get 14 ham's from your group to volunteer at my aid stations that day. You guys are such an important part of any event, and without you none of these events could even take place. The shift would be an all day affair, and would be from 6am-5pm(depending on the aid station they are helping at). I would love if your guys want to come and enjoy the finish line food, and all hams are welcome to food at the aid stations. I am studying to get my ham license right now, and hope to take the test soon! Thanks so much for any thoughts you have, and hope to hear from you soon! Sincerely, Keira Henninger. Keira can be reached at 949-322-2048.

The teams participating are Law Enforcement (Police and Sheriff departments, judges, bailiffs, and other related agencies and service groups).
